Do antipsychotics reduce the risk of relapse?


Abstract

This article explores drug-induced dopamine supersensitivity as an explanatory discourse for the finding that relapse and subsequent re-psychiatrization is higher for those withdrawn from psychiatric drugs than for those who stay on the medication.
